Here are 3 “myths” that keep some women from taking the plunge with boudoir photography.
Myth #1 You Have to Have a Perfect Body to Do a Boudoir Session
One of the biggest lies we hear about doing boudoir: You have to have a “perfect” body to do it!
False!
At Annapolis Boudoir, we celebrate ALL body types! You are not defined by your body. You don’t need to lose weight. We believe in embracing your body and so that you will totally and completely love and accept yourself as you are. This is what a boudoir session will accomplish. You don’t need to change a single thing about yourself! This is a wonderful way to show you how gorgeous you truly are.
Myth #2 Boudoir Photos Are Too "Raunchy"
Linda’s mission is to embrace and photograph you from the inside out. What that means, is that her style is all about capturing your soul in beautiful black and white photography that will show you it is time for you to fall in love with yourself. You are not defined by your body. You are defined by your self worth and it is here where you will finally arrive at the place of self love and empowerment.
More and more women are booking sessions for themselves. They want to exist in portraits because they deserve it. These are women who push through their blocks and fears by booking a boudoir session. Myth #3 My Boudoir Session Won't Be "Private"
Every boudoir session is handled with the utmost care. No images are every shared unless agreed upon. If you do not want any of your images shared, they will never be shared on social media. All the images you see on my website are with permission from each of my subjects. Due to the sensitive nature of these images, we at Annapolis Boudoir maintain the highest level of integrity and privacy.
