Danica’s Experience with Annapolis Boudoir Photography
Prior to hitting 40, I told myself that I would do a boudoir shoot as a gift for my husband. Well, 40 came and went and along with it my metabolism! So, I kept telling myself, “When I lose weight I’ll do it.” Fast forward to 43 when I finally decided to reverse my thinking and realized that time was robbing me of an experience that may actually empower me and MAKE me feel better. So rather than waiting to lose the weight, I decided to take a chance and go for it.
When I came across Linda McCarthy with Annapolis Boudoir, I knew this was the right fit! Linda is not only a seasoned professional, but such a genuinely kind person. From the moment that I entered her house, I felt a calm come over me. I was nervous because I was far from the body type I figured I’d have when doing this, but Linda has a way of just making you feel at home and comfortable.
After the first couple of shots any sense of anxiety was replaced with confidence and excitement. It’s truly rare to find someone that can make you feel that comfortable! Let alone on the first time meeting them and in lingerie! Linda truly has a gift. Not only with her natural ability to make you feel completely at ease, but with her gorgeous photography skills.

About Linda
I am the premier Maryland boudoir photographer in Annapolis serving Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia, Delaware and Pennsylvania. I specialize in black and white fine art portraits. My home studio is in a 100 year-old farmhouse located in Davidsonville, Maryland. Our photo sessions take place in our loft studio or in our beautifully designed Secret Gardens that boasts a pond, a wrought-iron gate, flower gardens, an old-fashioned tree swing and a southern front porch complete with white pillars and white wicker furniture. I also have access to our neighbors’ strawberry farm, including a red barn and beautiful open fields. Whether your session is indoors or out in nature, you can be sure that your boudoir session is tailor made with YOU in mind.
To see a woman transform before my eyes and to see her light shine is my WHY! I love working with woman of all ages from all walks of life and help them fall in love with themselves all over again and in turn they greet the world with love of self, confidence and a renewed sense of energy!!
